We are partnering with an exciting and fast-scaling tech organisation who’s sustained growth has led to opening a new Engineering Manager position. This role will give you the opportunity to take full ownership of a high functioning Software Engineering team, where you will be a strategic thought leader, mentor, manager, motivator!
The context:
Due to the ongoing growth of the organisation, we are helping our client with their Engineering team expansion, specifically with the addition of an experienced Engineering Manager. In this role you will liaise with and report directly to the global Head of Engineering, who needs you to enhance project delivery, drive innovation and provide effective technical leadership. Your ability to evaluate, understand and develop your team’s competencies to meet project and product road maps is essential.
What you will be doing
You will be leading a team of 6 engineers - overseeing resource planning, project plannng, driving and monitoring performance, basically making sure your team has what it needs to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Working closely with QA, Product and DevOps teams plays a fundamental part to the role. Your ability to foster effective relationships and identify who is best placed to collaborate on a project is key.
There will be real opportunities to innovate, so your ability to create, develop and deploy new features that align with the product roadmap will be needed! If you can drive the adoption of new technologies, frameworks and processes, and ensure that the solutions remain competitive and state-of-the-art, then we want to hear from you.
Your profile
You have a minimum of 3 years experience in an engineering leadership role, ideally having managed in complex, fast-moving environments, following an earlier career in Software Engineering of at least 5 years
Your technical skill set includes in-depth knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies, ideally including strong experience with Keycloak. and other modern open source IAM solutions
You know how to operate in an Agile environment
You speak fluent French and English
